For the past four years I have been so caught up with school that I haven't done anything self-less for someone else. So when I heard about the Hopkins 4k I felt it would be a very good way to spend my last free summer. Also both of my parents work at a cancer research hospital and I've had the privilege to meet many people who have dedicated their lives to helping others and finding a cure. I want to dedicate my two months to the people who work hard every day to give us hope.

Future Plans: I will graduate from Truman state university with a BS in Biology and plan to attend medical school in KY in august.
