I have seen people I love battle cancer and lose, and others, thankfully, win. I've lost my grandmother, great-grandfather, and almost my father to cancer. Nothing would be more meaningful to me that to contribute to help save others.

Age: 19 (will be 20 on June 19 :) )
Major: Biomedical Engineering (concentrating in Material Science)
Future Plans: I'm not sure exactly, but as of now I want to graduate and go straight into the biomedical industry.--Hopefully developing non-invasive surgery techniques for treating severe injuries, designing more effective prosthetics/braces, and doing research on tissue engineering.
