When I first heard about the Hopkins 4K, I thought to myself, "Man, what a bunch of crazy loonies." Unable to run away from my adventurous instincts, however, the idea quickly grew on me because it was a challenge and it was just plain cool. Once I learned that the team was committed to helping cancer patients through spreading awareness, raising funds, and volunteering, I was sold. It is difficult to think of a more beautiful or meaningful way to help fight cancer, just as it is difficult to find a more important or pressing cause. I am dedicating my ride to my grandmother who survived kidney cancer thanks to early detection and to the surgeons who helped her, those silent heros who took action before it was too late.

Future Goals:
I hope to specialize in Middle Eastern history and one day enter academia, serve my country by joining the Foreign Service and see the world up close with a loving wife and children, and/or go into the computer game industry and one day open my own game development studio.
