I am taking this trip because I can think of no better way to help people in need, while embarking on the adventure of a lifetime. I have seen three of my close friends lose a parent to cancer, and I want to dedicate my ride to the families that have gone through so much emotionally as well as those who are fighting every day.

My future goals:
Currently I am working at Siemens Medical Solutions (thanks for the time off and support) as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for cardiac and ultrasound medical imaging equipment. I look forward to getting married early next year and living in the Ann Arbor area. I have always enjoyed being active and involved in the community, and I look at this as the first of many such events that I will be a part of as I start my professional career.
