Day 43 (Day off) Moab, UT
We woke up bright and early this morning in order to take a tour of Arches National Park. Because we were all feeling like we haven’t been getting enough exercise lately, we decided to go on a 3-mile hike in the park. In addition to the hike, we were given a private tour by a park ranger who showed us many interesting things, including this stuff that looked like dirt but was really bacteria or something.

After the tour, we all went into Moab for lunch. The temperature was close to 110 degrees, so we all of course decided to eat very hot and spicy Mexican food and drink a few cervesas (those of us who were 21 of course). I had the uber-burrito, which was about the size of a football.

We finally ended up back Katie’s house where we were staying. After a few wrestling matches for the remote control, we all watched the Tour de France on OLN (Despite the fact that the silent majority wanted to see what Carrie was up to on “Sex and the City”).
