Day 7 (Day off in Sandusky, OH)
Today we were suddenly awakened by the sound of a basketball being bounced in the gym next door to where we were sleeping. However, before we had the chance to be enraged we realized that it was already 11:30 and it was our first DAY OFF!!

As we all lounged in the back of the YMCA awaiting the ULTIMATE breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon to be served by Jen, Blair, and Steph, we baked in the sun and talked about some random book we found in the kitchen entitled, “How to Survive in the Woods.” Mark also informed us all of why he, being a vegetarian, cannot eat cheese.

After breakfast some of the boys went to the bike shop to repair their bikes while the rest of us went to the library to check our e-mail. After the Harley parade went by we came back to the YMCA and ate some free fried chicken that the YMCA lady had got for us. It seems to me that all we do is eat! I’ve never eaten so well in my life. It’s awesome.

Later on in the day, half of us went to the water park down the street while the other half walked around a strip mall for three hours. Dan, Wylie, Gary, and Brent all chipped in and purchased a lovely decoration for the dash board of the chicken van.

We played ultimate Frisbee in the Outback parking lot again and then we were told that we couldn’t eat there so we went next door to Fazolli’s for a pasta dinner to end the day. Everyone seemed to enjoy their much needed day off. I know I did!
