St. Louis!
After five days of riding, including two centuries (100-mile rides), our day off in St. Louis was a welcomed break for our leg muscles and bottoms. However, 4K days off still don’t mean rest for the weary! Dan, Tegan, Vidya, Dewey, David, Lisa, Monica, and Ben started the day off early with an appearance on “Good Morning St. Louis.” The rest of the day was filled with laundry watching, bike maintenance, and errand running. The Pancreatic Cancer Society held a Benefit Concert downtown during which 4Kers helped sell raffle tickets and water bottles. We had a photoshoot in the fountains by the concert with the Arch in the background. Afterwards we could easily be spotted in our blue jerseys at the Cardinals baseball game. And of course we all took full advantage of the beds and pillows providing by St. Louis University!
