Punching the air triumphantly as we leave the state of Nevada...
...and enter our 13th and final state - California.
There are only 2 things to remember when tackling the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevadas...
1. Figure out your directions beforehand.
2. Just keep pedaling, very very hard.

On May 29, 2005, we dipped our back tires in the Atlantic Ocean. Two months later, we dipped our front wheels in the waters of the Pacific Ocean in the San Francisco Bay.
